Basketball Game Preview: Overlake Owls vs. Northwest House

The Overlake Owls will head out to face off against the Northwest House at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Overlake will be strutting in after a win while Northwest will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Overlake got the win against Eastside Prep by a conclusive 60-36. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 52-41 to King's.

Overlake pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.2 points. As for Northwest, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Overlake came up short against Northwest in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 57-51. Can Overlake avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
