Basketball Recap: Burns Sci-Tech Takes a Loss

Burns Sci-Tech lost against Crooms Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 62-39 to the Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crooms Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ammel Camphor, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Gabriel Cestero was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

Burns Sci-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Crooms Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Burns Sci-Tech will take on Riverbend Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Crooms Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Orangewood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
