Basketball Recap: Edmond Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Edmond Santa Fe was the 69-47 winner over Piedmont when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Edmond Santa Fe Wolves fell 68-59 to the Piedmont Wildcats on Tuesday.

Edmond Santa Fe dropped their record down to 6-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Piedmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Edmond Santa Fe will head out to square off against Putnam City North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Putnam City North's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. As for Piedmont, they will challenge Eisenhower at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Piedmont knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Eisenhower likes a good challenge.
