Volleyball Recap: Elmwood-Murdock Knights vs. Freeman Falcons
Elmwood-Murdock managed to slip by Freeman the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Falcons on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
Elmwood-Murdock was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 19 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-19.
Annie Backemeyer paced Elmwood-Murdock's offense, picking up ten kills. Backemeyer got some help from Lucy Backemeyer and her 21 assists. Lucy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
