Basketball Recap: Greenwood Mennonite Flames vs. Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots
Greenwood Mennonite is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Chestertown Christian Academy on Saturday, but Chestertown Christian Academy came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Greenwood Mennonite Flames came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots, sneaking past 49-47. The score was all tied up 22-22 at the break, but the Flames were the better team in the second half.
Leading Greenwood Mennonite to victory were Carter Long and Jude Harrison. Long went 10-for-25 en route to 25 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Harrison dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Long is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Blake Mast was another key player, putting up seven points.
