Volleyball Recap: West Anchorage Takes a Loss

West Anchorage lost against South Anchorage last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Wolverines. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While West Anchorage was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into South Anchorage's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13, 25-16.

West Anchorage's loss dropped their record down to 8-22-2. As for South Anchorage, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 24-3.

West Anchorage has already played their next matchup (against Eagle River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for South Anchorage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Colony on the 8th.
