Volleyball Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Eastside had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Eastside's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for P.K. Yonge, they moved to 4-10 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Eastside will take on Hawthorne at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for P.K. Yonge, they will challenge Chiefland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
