Baseball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bayonne Bees. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bees this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-3 loss on Thursday.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Bayonne, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Memorial has already played their next game (against Dickinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bayonne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-8 loss against Union City on the 15th.
