Preview: Boulder Creek Jaguars vs. Pinnacle Pioneers
Boulder Creek has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Pinnacle Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder Creek has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 498 points over their last seven matches.
Last Friday, Boulder Creek faced O'Connor in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Boulder Creek took down O'Connor 67-48.
Andrew Bhesania and Landon Brewer were among the main playmakers for Boulder Creek as the former scored 18 points and the latter scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Auditya, who scored six points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Pinnacle came up short against Sunnyslope on Friday and fell 62-52. It was the first time this season that Pinnacle let down their fans at home.
Boulder Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Pinnacle, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.
Boulder Creek came up short against Pinnacle in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 97-91. Can Boulder Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
