Baseball Recap: Dan River Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dan River can now relate to. They came up short against the John Battle Trojans on Tuesday, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wildcats haven't been shut out since back in April.

Dan River's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for John Battle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Dan River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for John Battle, they will face off against King William at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The last six games the Cavaliers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
