Providence is 8-1-1 against New Albany since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pioneers will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Providence's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Saturday, Providence and Lawrenceburg finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, New Albany had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Bears as they made off with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for New Albany, who have now won ten contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Evansville Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bailey Belden, Tess Chrisman, and Clara Railey.

Providence's draw makes their record 8-3-4 this season. As for New Albany, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Providence took their win against New Albany when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
