Basketball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan lost against Long Beach Poly back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jordan Panthers took a blow against the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits, falling 92-50. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Long Beach Poly, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan will take on Woodrow Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Long Beach Poly, they will square off against Cabrillo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Long Beach Poly knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Cabrillo likes a good challenge.
