Soccer Recap: Lowry Comes Up Short

Lowry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spring Creek Spartans. Lowry were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Spring Creek apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lowry's goal came courtesy of Ava Swensen, which was the first she's scored this season.

Lowry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Spring Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Lowry didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Non Varsity Opponent on the 16th. As for Spring Creek, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Debbie Smith CTE Academy at 11:45 a.m. on September 6.
