Basketball Game Preview: Bennett County Warriors vs. Lyman Raiders

Bennett County is 2-8 against Lyman since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Bennett County Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Lyman Raiders at 2:00 p.m. Lyman took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bennett County, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with 15 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Bennett County turned things around against Gordon-Rushville on Friday. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 43-34.

Meanwhile, Lyman came up short against Sully Buttes on Tuesday and fell 53-43.

Lyman's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bennett County, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2.

Bennett County didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lyman in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bennett County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
