Recap: Ribault Trojans vs. Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles
The Ribault Trojans pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Paxon School For Advanced Studies by a score of 57-55. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ribault in their matchups with Paxon School For Advanced Studies: they've now lost three in a row.
Ribault's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Williams, who scored 22 points. Williams scored a full 40% of Ribault's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jaheim Robinson, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Ribault's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Ribault's road trip will continue as they head out to face Southwest at 1:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they will take on Ponte Vedra at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Ponte Vedra focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
