Nova came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Fort Lauderdale Flying L.

Nova was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-22, 25-15.

Alex Arukakkal paced Nova's offense, picking up 14 kills. Arukakkal got some help from Daniel He and his 35 assists. Finally, Alexander Budde kept Nova's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Nova's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Fort Lauderdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Nova will host Taravella at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Titans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Fort Lauderdale, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Plantation on the 16th.
