Basketball Game Preview: Bronson Eagles vs. Chiefland Indians

The Bronson Eagles will take on the Chiefland Indians at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bronson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Bronson is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Chiefland by a score of 65-62. The Eagles have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Bronson might have lost, but man, Justice Phillips was a machine: he almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds. The matchup was Phillips' 15th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Martensen, who posted six points and three blocks.

The win (which was Chiefland's third in a row) raised their record to 13-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Bronson, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
