Basketball Recap: Myasia Bostick Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Indian Trail

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Racine Park had no problem doing just that on Friday. They managed a 52-48 win over the Indian Trail Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-44 back in January.

Racine Park's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Myasia Bostick, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Bostick is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games she's played. Addison Betker was another key player, putting up eight points along with eight rebounds and five assists.

Racine Park smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Racine Park's win bumped their record up to 11-14. As for Indian Trail, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Racine Park nor Indian Trail have any future games scheduled.
