Baseball Game Preview: Edison vs. Hillcrest Hawks

Edison will challenge the Hillcrest Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Edison has three straight wins, Hillcrest has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Edison is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Springfield Gardens with a sharp 21-2 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Edison, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest lost 11-1 to Beach Channel on Thursday.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Edison, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Edison beat Hillcrest 12-8 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Edison repeat their success, or does Hillcrest has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
