Softball Recap: Washington Township Drops Season-High Score on Tri-Township

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington Township). They blew past the Tri-Township Tigers 22-2 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Senators needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Washington Township's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Tri-Township, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Township will host Culver Community at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Senators will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Tri-Township, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against South Central at 4:30 p.m.
