Basketball Game Preview: Hartsville Red Foxes vs. Darlington Falcons

Hartsville and Darlington are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Hartsville Red Foxes will welcome the Darlington Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartsville is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Hartsville came up short against Crestwood and fell 51-43.

Meanwhile, Darlington posted their closest win since February 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged South Florence out 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted against the Bruins since January 3, 2017.

The win made it two in a row for Darlington and bumps their season record up to 10-3. As for Hartsville, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything came up roses for Hartsville against Darlington in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the team secured a 67-39 victory. Will Hartsville repeat their success, or does Darlington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
