Softball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson fell victim to Poynette and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pumas. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Poynette, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

As of now, neither Jefferson nor the Pumas have any future games scheduled.
