Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 12-6 to the Brindlee Mountain Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 back in February.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Brindlee Mountain, they moved to 5-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Brindlee Mountain beat Columbia by a score of 12-8 later that day.
