Football Recap: St. Henry Takes a Loss

While it was St. Henry who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Ludlow who put up more. The Crusaders received a blow as they fell 32-14 to the Panthers. The Crusaders were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Cy Parento threw for 41 yards on four of ten attempts. David Penick was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Lucas Pate rushed for 194 yards and two scores while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.

St. Henry is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8. As for Ludlow, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. St. Henry will challenge Breathitt County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. As for Ludlow, they will take on Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
