            Football Recap: Ninety Six Wildcats vs. Batesburg-Leesville Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Ninety Six extended their losing streak  to four  on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were beaten by the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers 49-14. The Wildcats were down  36-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
As for Batesburg-Leesville, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 43.0 points over those games.
  Amadre Wooden produced another solid  performance rushing for 238 yards and four  scores while picking up 12.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 204  rushing yards.  Kd Whitt was another key player, gaining 96 total yards and three touchdowns.
 Looking ahead, Ninety Six will challenge Saluda at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 12.9  points per game  this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they will square off against American Leadership Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.71  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
