Soccer Recap: Beaver Comes Up Short

Beaver fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against San Juan on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1. Beaver's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Leo De Leon, who's now up to three this season.

Beaver's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for San Juan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Beaver wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Freedom Prep Academy on the 24th. As for San Juan, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against American Leadership Academy on the 24th.
