Chase Caine posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

Caine's strong effort led Theodore over Murphy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Murphy is limping into the matchup having lost 15 straight at home dating back to last season.
