Volleyball Game Preview: Phoenix Christian Cougars vs. Camp Verde Cowboys

The Phoenix Christian Cougars will head out to face off against the Camp Verde Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Phoenix Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to St. John Paul II Catholic. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Camp Verde got the win against Red Rock on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Scorpions: they've now won three in a row.

Camp Verde's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Phoenix Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Phoenix Christian couldn't quite get it done against Camp Verde in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
