Soccer Recap: Waverly vs. Elkhorn
Waverly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Elkhorn Antlers. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Waverly couldn't quite close it out.

As for Elkhorn, they will head out on the road to square off against Beatrice at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Elkhorn is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
