Softball Recap: Racine Case Takes a Loss

Racine Case came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-5 to the Union Grove Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Alex Walek made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three doubles and two runs. McKynna Szymandera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Racine Case's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Union Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Racine Case will challenge Kenosha Tremper at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Grove, they will take on Beloit Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
