Baseball Recap: Colbert Heights Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Colbert Heights challenged Red Bay on Monday. The Colbert Heights Wildcats came up short against the Red Bay Tigers, falling 14-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 15-9 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Colbert Heights has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. Red Bay's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-3.

Coming up, Colbert Heights will face off against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Bay, they will head out on the road to challenge Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
