Basketball Recap: North Bend Central Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when North Bend Central challenged Boone Central on Tuesday. The North Bend Central Tigers enjoyed a cozy 62-48 win over the Boone Central Cardinals. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Boone Central's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braylee Young, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 14 points and six rebounds. Myah Rankin was another key player, going 5-for-6 en route to 12 points and five boards.

North Bend Central pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. As for Boone Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.
