Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Newfound Regional). They claimed a resounding 62-13 win over the Prospect Mountain Timberwolves. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bears' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Timberwolves are ranked 34th).

Newfound Regional's win bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Prospect Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Newfound Regional and Prospect Mountain's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Newfound Regional and Gilford (who has only given up 29.94 points per game) will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Prospect Mountain will challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, a squad that's only allowed 22.27 points per game.
