Flag Football Recap: Carson Comes Up Short Despite ROMERO MELODY's Big Defensive Game

If Carson was feeling good fresh off their 26-0 takedown of Port of Los Angeles on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Colts lost 28-6 to the Banning Pilots on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Pilots are ranked 130th).

Even if they lost, Carson's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Banning's QB won't forget ROMERO MELODY anytime soon given she sacked her twice.

Carson dropped their record down to 5-4-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Banning, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-5.

Carson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 21-0 loss against Torrance on the 24th. As for Banning, they have also already played their next contest, a 37-0 victory against Port of Los Angeles on the 22nd.
