Football Recap: Carson Comes Up Short Despite ROMERO MELODY's Big Defensive Game

After flying high against Port of Los Angeles on Monday, Carson came back down to earth. The Colts came up short against the Banning Pilots on Monday, falling 28-6. The loss continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Pilots: they've now lost three in a row.

Even if they lost, Carson's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. ROMERO MELODY was especially locked on to Banning's QB and sacked her twice.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Banning, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Carson will take on Torrance at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Colts 11.7, the Tartars 8.2) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Banning, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 37-0 win against Port of Los Angeles on the 22nd.
