Cypress Christian won against Logos Prep Academy last Tuesday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Cypress Christian Warriors greeted the New Year with with a 61-44 victory over the New Waverly Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cypress Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for New Waverly, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Christian will venture away from home to face off against The Woodlands Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Waverly, they are taking a road trip to challenge Alpha Omega Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
