Volleyball Recap: Mason Takes a Loss

Mason lost against Mt. Pleasant back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oilers.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Mason's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 19-3-1.

Looking ahead, Mason will head out on the road to square off against Williamston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Pleasant, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against McBain on the 4th.
