Softball Recap: Napa Comes Up Short

Napa was the 20-1 winner over Justin-Siena when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Grizzlies lost 14-4 to the Braves on Wednesday. The Grizzlies just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Izzi Chae was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Napa's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Justin-Siena, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Napa will challenge Sonoma Valley at 4:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Justin-Siena, they will square off against Casa Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gauchos will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight.
