            Momence was not the first on the board  on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against the Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman Buffaloes by a score of  29-20. The Momence Athletics haven't had any issues with the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
Momence got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Erick Castillo out in front who threw for 321 yards and four  TDs while picking up 12.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 117 yards. Castillo also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making one tackle and defending one pass in addition to snagging  an  interception. 158 of  Castillo's passing yards were hauled in by Jayden Dau, who also brought in two  receiving touchdowns.

 Momence didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Castillo and  Dau. Dau also  posted 158  receiving yards, which is notable because Momence is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  80  receiving yards, but 1-4 otherwise.
 Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  William Runyan, who picked up 124 receiving yards and one  score, and  Alex Wade, who rushed for 94 yards and one  touchdown. Runyan really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 77 yards.
Momence's record is now 4-5. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-6.
