Basketball Recap: Cherokee Victorious

It's playoff time, and Cherokee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 56-50 win over the Lowndes Vikings on Wednesday.

Lowndes lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kam Jackson, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds. Jahmarcus Walker was another key player, putting up seven points.

Cherokee's victory bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Lowndes, their loss dropped their record down to 19-10.

Looking ahead, Cherokee will take on East Coweta on Saturday. Lowndes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
