Duarte was forced to take a big loss against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Baldwin Park Braves by a score of 8-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Duarte's record now sits at 14-12. As for Baldwin Park, they moved to 16-5 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Duarte will venture away from home to challenge Monrovia at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Baldwin Park, they will be playing at home against Azusa at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aztecs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight.
