Basketball Recap: Rosemount Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shakopee, Rosemount was happy to have turned things around on Sunday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Farmington Tigers 70-68. This was payback for the Irish, who suffered a 74-52 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory snapped Rosemount's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record. As for Farmington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rosemount beat Farmington by a score of 70-68 on Monday.
