Meanwhile, Menomonie fell victim to New Richmond and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. Menomonie haven't had much luck with New Richmond recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Rice Lake's win bumped their record up to 4-0-1. As for Menomonie, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Rice Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over Menomonie when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
