Basketball Recap: Plant City's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

It was a good run, but Plant City unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 61-40 to the Plant Panthers. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 54-38.

Despite the loss, Plant City had strong showings from Laurice Hamilton, who posted eight points and eight rebounds, and Logan Teeden, who earned seven points and four steals. Teeden has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. Patrick Wright was another key player, putting up six points.

Plant City's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Plant, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Plant City will square off against Blake at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Plant City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.4 points per game this season. As for Plant, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-35 victory against Riverview on the 22nd.
