Basketball Recap: Omaha Lightning Wins Going Away Against Mid-Missouri Homeschool

Omaha Lightning lost to Mid-Missouri HomeSchool back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Omaha Lightning blew past Mid-Missouri HomeSchool 69-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Omaha Lightning.

Despite the defeat, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool had strong showings from Mitchell Pfaff, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 17 points in addition to six boards and three steals, and Carter Lovell, who shot 40% from the field en route to 15 points and four steals. Lovell has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Liam Henness, who posted seven points.

Omaha Lightning now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.

Omaha Lightning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-53 loss against Christ Prep Academy on the 5th.
