Volleyball Recap: Panorama Pythons vs. Poly Parrots
Panorama and Poly squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Panorama had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Parrots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Parrots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.
The final score came out to 25-16, 23-25, 25-21, 25-18.
Poly was led to victory by Brandon Campos and Stephon Aragon. Campos had 20 digs and four assists, while Aragon had 11 digs. That's the most assists Campos has posted since back in April. Jonathan Ochoa also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
Panorama's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-13-2. As for Poly, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-10-3.
Panorama does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poly, they will head out on the road to square off against Fairfax at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
