James Olan turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for Van Nuys: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Olan and Van Nuys are taking a road trip to square off against Campbell Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 467 places lower in California), but they're not letting that get them down.
