Basketball Recap: Homewood Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Homewood won the last time they faced Spain Park and things went their way on Friday too. The Homewood Patriots took down the Spain Park Jaguars 58-40. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Homewood's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Spain Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homewood will welcome John Carroll Catholic at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spain Park, they will host McAdory at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in McAdory's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
