Volleyball Recap: Philip Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jones County, Philip was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Stanley County Buffalos as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Scotties, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Buffalos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-22, 26-24.

Kaydence Eisenbraun paced Philip's offense, picking up eight kills. Eisenbraun got some help from Memphis Konst and her 14 assists. Kale Peterson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Philip's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Stanley County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Philip will face off against Sully Buttes at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Stanley County, they will challenge Ipswich at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
