Soccer Game Preview: St. Cloud vs. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy

The St. Cloud Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Cloud is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to nine goals back in December of 2024, they were much more limited against Harmony on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Longhorns. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bulldogs haven't been shut out since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy). They never let Father Lopez onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Their offense was hitting Father Lopez from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Charlotte Lacey led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's record now sits at 6-3-2. As for St. Cloud, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

St. Cloud might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can St. Cloud avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
